Max Azria’s Spring 2015 Collection did not fail to disappoint. The signature body-con dresses were very much present but what were added were a lot more skin being shown and a theme of contemporary women warriors ready to take on life. He had a little bit of everything – some cocktails/red carpet dresses, swimwear, bodysuits, and two piece outfits with colors like vivid orange, hot pink, classic black, nude pink, white, gunmetal gray, power blue and complimentary prints mixed in. The details on his collection were impeccably done well – as always.
Max Azria is a Tunisian fashion designer, who founded the contemporary women’s clothing brand BCBG Max Azria Group, a global fashion house that encompasses over 20 brands. He is the CEO, chairman and head designer alongside his wife, Lubov Azria, who acts as chief creative officer.
In 1998, Azria acquired the Herve Leger fashion house, marking the first time in history that an American designer has acquired a French couturier. In early 2007, Azria re-launched the Herve Leger label with his own designs, which were quickly embraced by celebrities and trendsetters worldwide.
Azria has received many awards throughout his career, including the California Designer of the Year (1995), The Fashion Performance Award (1997), The Otis Fashion Achievement Award (2000), Fashion Excellence Award (2008) – just to name a few.
