The Orthopaedic Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that improves quality of life through cutting edge research and education for the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, with a focus on orthopaedic and sports injuries.
The Orthopaedic Foundation was created as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization located on the East Coast whose primary function is to effectively promote, support, develop and encourage research and education concerning orthopaedic care and advancements in musculoskeletal diseases. It will encourage participation by physicians in orthopaedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation whose practice also includes the care of persons with sport-related musculoskeletal injuries.
It will provide academically sound and clinically relevant updates on new technologies in the treatment of arthritis, orthopaedic injuries, and musculoskeletal diseases through an ongoing series of training and workshops. Through a combination of lectures, case presentations and hands on anatomy workshops, participating physicians, fellows and researches will learn about newly acquired information, and have ample time to apply it.
The Foundation is dedicated to the development and presentation of unique continuing medical education programs for physicians, other health care professionals and interested groups. will be on:
Medical Education- The Foundation is an Independent academic Institute accredited by ACGME(Accredited Council for Graduate medical Education), and we sponsor a Sports Medicine Fellowship. An ACGME Fellowship certificate is provided after the successful completeion of a 12 month program. We also provide medical education for physicians and other health care professionals including: – Hands-on medical education anatomy workshops – Physician training. We also sponsor the Academic Orthopaedic Summit Conference annually that is accredited to give CME(Continuing Medical Education) credits(approximately 30+) for MD’s, DO’s, DPM/s, ATC’s, PT’s and PA’s.
Medical Research focuses on: – Educational technology including advanced techniques in minimally invasive orthopaedic surgery – Advances in treatments of musculoskeletal diseases such as arthritis.
Community Outreach: – Presentations to augment and enhance science assignments for middle and high school students – Sports Medicine and Athletic Training programs for high school students. – self management health education programs for arthritis sufferers to increase their knowledge, skills and confidence to manage the disease. These programs are designed to complement the services of healthcare providers. – “How to Prevent Sports Injuries” seminars – Rehabilitation programs for “weekend warriors” – Anatomy and physiology lectures and labs will be offered to area medical and nursing schools to give their students off campus continuing education credit opportunities.

Ken Wisdom ,Philanthropist, Athlete an Director of Portfolio Advisors, Orthopaedic Foundation Board Member ,Mr Wisdom was honored with the Philanthropic and Professional Excellence Award and Camille Duvall ,US Elite Water Ski Team, Water Ski Hall of Famer, Sports Illustrated ‘s “Top 100 Greatest Female Athletes of the 20th Century”, Ms Duvall won the Spirit of an Active Lifestyle Award.
Olga Litvinenko, Miss Connecticut USA 2017 , was the Emcee, Howard Schwartz,Founder and President of Grandstand Sports Memorabilia was the Auctioneer, Oz Pearman, Mentalist did a live performance.
