We had the pleasure of interviewing Film, television ,theater and three-time Tony Award Winner ,Nathan lane and Actor Matthew Broderick ,at the 35th Annual Drama League’s Annual benefit 2018, which Nathan Lane was honored.
Nathan Lane is an American actor and writer who is known for his roles in Mousehunt and in The Lion King. He won three Tony Awards, an Screen Actors Guild Award, an Emmy Award, and an Drama Desk Award.
In television, he is known for his roles in Modern Family, The Good Wife and The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
Lane won three Tony Awards for his stage roles in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Producers and for Angels in America.
Lane was born on February 3, 1956 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He studied at St. Peter’s Preparatory High School. He is openly gay. In 2015, Lane married Devlin Elliott.
Matthew Broderick: Matthew Broderick is an American actor and singer. His roles include the title character in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986), the adult voice of Simba in Disney’s The Lion King trilogy (1994–2004), David Lightman in the Cold War thriller WarGames (1983), and Leo Bloom in the Broadway production of The Producers (2005).
Broderick has won two Tony Awards, one for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983), and one for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995). As of 2018, Broderick remains the youngest winner of the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play.
In 2006, for his contributions to the film industry, Matthew Broderick was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a motion pictures star located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard. Eleven years later, Broderick earned induction into the American Theater Hall of Fame.

Gisselle Acevedo, the new President & CEO, Ackerman Institute for the Family, announced today the host and honorees for the 12th Annual Moving Families Forward gala to take place at the JW Marriott Essex House on Monday, October 22nd in New York City. The event benefits the vital programs and ongoing services for children and families at the Ackerman Institute for the Family.
The 2018 honorees will be:Cynthia McFadden, Senior legal and investigative correspondent for NBC News, will be honored with the Ackerman Family Advocate Award.
Lois Braverman, President Emeritus of the Ackerman Institute for the Family, will be honored with the Ackerman Innovative Leadership Award.
Arnold Syrop, Principal and creative director of Arnold Syrop Architects, will be honored with the Ackerman Distinguished Service Award.
Tamsen Fadal, eleven-time Emmy award-winning Journalist & PIX 11 News Anchor, will return to host the evening.
