International Food and Restaurant Show of New York – 2012

The International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York – also known as the NY Restaurant Show – is the only event in New York exclusively serving the restaurant and foodservice industry. This was a must-attend event for anyone involved in the restaurant, foodservice or hospitality industry.

Most had the chance to network with Independent Restaurant Owners, QSR, and Quick Serve Establishment Operators, Caterers, Bakers, Chefs, and other from across all segments and concepts, plus bars, nightclubs, hospitals, hotels and commercial foodservice operations.

The top exhibitors – like Ace Endico, Digital Menu Box, True World Foods, Baldor and Sam Tell & Sons – were there showing their latest and most innovative products and solutions.

15th Annual Chocolate Show in New York – 2012

New York City is about to get a bit sweeter this week with the opening of the world famous New York Chocolate Show celebrating its 15th Anniversary from Friday, November 9 through Sunday, November 11.

Presented by Event International, the New York Chocolate Show is the largest show completely dedicated to chocolate in all its forms in the United States.

On 4,000 sq. of exhibition, this event hosts more than 15,000 visitors, journalists, and professionals with some 150 participants.

The best chocolatiers and pastry chefs from America and abroad gather together to present their savoir-faire and talent to the public.

Every year, the Chocolate Show is also dotted with special events, celebrations, and performances.

BCA 9th Annual Global Food & Wine Experience Gala – 2012

This holiday season, BCA celebrated diversity at its 9th annual Global Food and Wine Experience which took place at Guastavino’s, located at 409 East 59th Street (underneath the 59th Street Bridge) in New York City This premier BCA Global culinary event recognized Harlem as one of NYC’s top food Mecca. During this event, over 50 chefs, wine and spirit merchants, and hundreds of food connoisseurs come together to create a platform for extraordinary culinary exploration.
As part of the event’s unique experience, more than 50 culinary students worked side by side with New York’s premier industry professionals as they prepared and unveiled the latest trends. The event highlighted a culinary sampling from select restaurants paired with gourmet tastings from winemakers, distributors and outlets from around the world.
Helen C. Shelton, Senior Partner at global public relations firm Finn Partners, was presented with the 2012 BCA Vision in Wine & Spirits Award.
