A cornerstone event of US Open Fan Week for nearly 30 years, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation returned to the US Open for the first time since 2019 on Saturday and brought the sunshine, smiles and spirit.
Tennis champion Arthur Ashe firmly believed that tennis could teach life skills including humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence, and day-long, free festival honors his legacy by introducing the sport of tennis to kids at no cost. In addition to on-court tennis activities, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day also features entertainment for all ages like storytelling, balloon animal and face painting.
As we write this article Serena Williams has won here tennis match in the 1st round by beating D. Kovinić by the scores of 6-3 6-3. Serena had said this will be her last tennis matches at the US Open 2022, win or lose she will retire. I had a pleasure of meet and interviewing Serena on a couple of times and also showcasing her S Clothing Line in our world liberty TV Fashion Channels.
She Truly is the GOAT of Women’s tennis; many will never accomplish what she did as a tennis player, she has inspired many woman and woman of color in the Tennis world as well as many sports throughout the world. We want to wish her the best in whatever she does next , it was always a pleasure to meet and see Serena at many events , and I believe we will meet at many more.
